We are launching a new marketing new site that covers the world of social media, marketing, and startups for entrepreneurs and marketing professionals. We talk about how technology and social media will drive business, and business decisions of the future. With contributors from all around the world, and we are quickly becoming the fastest growing, independent news source. We are headquartered in Los Angeles, California and looking for unique and original content we can launch our site with.
We are launching a new website focusing on marketing, social media, and digital. Our goal is not to be another site that gives tips and tricks, or 101 tips to better marketing. We want to take what is happening in the world and analyze the good, bad and ugly and post about it to teach, educate and inform our audience on how to apply these marketing techniques to their own business.
For example, lets look at Apple. We want articles about what they are doing in the marketing world and how it can be applied to small/medium sized business owners, or those without the Apple marketing budget. What is their strategy behind the use of color? What is their "i" brand all about? (iPhone, iMac, iPod, etc.) Or, lets look at Netflix. We want articles that talk about why Quikster didn't work, and why it died such a quick and painful death. What can we learn from that product launch and failure that people can apply in their own business? Or maybe focusing on corporate people... Bios on new corporate CMO's. Or case histories on how business cut through the cutter with creative marketing and brand campaigns.
Right now, I am collecting content so the site will launch with superior information. We are searching for writers in the topics of:
Social Media Marketing
Articles on companies like Apple, Microsoft, Facebook and Twitter. How was their 2013? What do they have planned for 2014? What will these companies look like 5 years from now? 10 years? How is MySpace doing anyways?
Case histories - Do you have stories of great campaigns or campaigns that fell flat on their face you can write about and share?
You should have a marketing background, or experience in the areas you are writing about. Articles should be brief, concise and to the point, approximately 500 words each. We pay $10 per blog plus offer bonuses based on traffic, comments and virality. We get exclusive rights to the content. Only approved content will be paid. Approved content must meet the minimum criteria of quality and "take away" knowledge for the reader. It doesn't have to be long to be effective.
Please contact me if you have any further questions. This can be a one-time or ongoing arrangement.
