I’m building a web-based, end-to-end construction ERP and need seasoned full-stack developers who can work closely with our Chennai product team. The system will run entirely in the browser, so every feature must be performant, responsive, and usable from any modern desktop or mobile browser without a native app. Core scope The application has to cover the complete construction lifecycle: Sales, Estimation, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations, tightly linked together so data flows seamlessly from the first inquiry through final hand-over. While those are the first five modules on the roadmap, the underlying architecture should remain modular to accommodate future additions such as HR, Accounting, or Field Service. What you will tackle • Design and implement scalable back-end services, database schema, and public REST/GraphQL APIs. • Build an intuitive front-end that lets project teams move quickly through quotes, BOM revisions, drawings, purchase orders, and site updates. • Enforce role-based access and strong audit trails to keep commercial, engineering, and site data in sync. • Set up CI/CD so new releases can be shipped weekly without downtime. • Produce concise technical documentation and hand-over notes for each completed sprint. Acceptance criteria 1. Each module (Sales through Operations) must be independently deployable, yet share a common auth and data layer. 2. A demonstration environment running on a cloud instance must be available for review after every major milestone. 3. Unit, integration, and basic end-to-end tests cover critical paths (quote approval, PO creation, task assignment, material receipt). 4. Code and documentation are handed over in a clean, version-controlled repository. If you’re comfortable taking an idea from whiteboard sketch to live production—and you can collaborate within IST hours when needed—I’d like to hear how you’d approach the stack, timelines, and any prior ERP or construction tech you’ve delivered.
