Hi, this is Ambar Shome, I work independently but also run Shome & Associates for larger projects. You need someone who can keep multiple codebases moving without making a mess. I do this kind of mixed maintenance work often. First I’d check what is already stable, then touch only what needs touching. Existing systems matter. For React + Node, I’ll clear current bugs first, then add new features in small safe PRs. I usually add loading state cleanup, API retry handling, form validation fixes, image compression, route-level code splitting, and query pagination where lists are slow. For .NET tool, I’ll keep current logic intact and add new modules around it. Usually service-layer changes, UI fixes, API sync jobs, role checks, and regression testing before deploy. For PHP site, I’ll trace actual errors first, not guess. Then fix warnings/fatals, update outdated functions, clean repeated code, improve session handling, add backup before edits, and optimize slow DB calls. PostgreSQL side, I’ll use proper migrations, indexes on slow filters, query review with EXPLAIN, and cleanup of unused columns if needed. Figma screens can be made from rough wireframes with reusable components so future pages match. GitHub workflow is fine for me. I keep PRs short, readable, commented where needed. No problem.
