I run a busy joinery shop and I’m looking for a CAM specialist who can turn the PDF drawings I supply into clean, production-ready G-code for my CNC router. Every job starts from a PDF, so the first step will usually be rebuilding or tidying the model inside Fusion 360—my preferred platform for both CAD cleanup and tool-pathing. Once the model is solid, I’ll need you to apply efficient 3-axis toolpaths, paying close attention to cutter selection, feeds, speeds and hold-down strategies for melamine, MDF and plywood. Good nesting habits are important; the less sheet waste we create, the happier I am. I’ll provide post-processor settings and full machine details before the first job. In return I expect: • A native Fusion 360 file with organised bodies and sketches • A NC folder containing verified G-code that runs without alarms on my machine • Clear notes on any assumptions, offsets or special tooling you used The code must pick up zero correctly, respect tool numbers, and eliminate unnecessary air moves. If your output cuts cleanly the first time, you can expect a steady stream of panels, carcasses and custom pieces to program each week.
