I’m opening up the current PC alpha of my turn-based JRPG and need a sharp set of eyes to break things before we head to beta. Your main tasks are to comb through every conversation, choice-branch, and menu screen, flagging anything that feels off, illogical, or simply broken. Where to focus – Storyline and dialogues: play with attention to narrative flow. If a plot twist feels undeserved, an NPC reacts out of character, or dialogue contradicts earlier events, capture it. Pure grammar slips matter less than confusing plot points. – User interface: navigate every window, tooltip, and combat overlay, noting misaligned elements, unreadable text, missing prompts, or loops a new player could get stuck in. Deliverable 1. A structured bug/feedback log (spreadsheet or shared doc) referencing build number, in-game location, reproduction steps, and your suggestion or question. 2. Short end-of-run summary outlining the top three narrative or UI blockers you believe must be fixed before public beta. You’ll receive a Steam key (Windows build), an internal walkthrough to fast-track chapters if you like, and direct access to our Discord for quick clarifications.
