The focus is purely on understanding two critical factors before we break ground: • Soil stability—classification of layers, bearing capacity estimates, and any recommendations for ground improvement, backed by field tests (standard penetration, cone penetration, or similar) and laboratory results. • Seismic activity—evaluation of local fault proximity, expected peak ground acceleration, and design-level recommendations that align with the latest PHIVOLCS and NSCP guidelines.
