We're creating about 4 IOT devices relating to point of sale. Like printers, barcode scanners, etc.
I'm running out of time and I need someone to create individual functions and also put certain features together to to a final product. A function might be something like
"Enable these three RGB LEDs so I can set them to any color at any time".
"Broadcast bluetooth so new devices with authentication keys can connect and communicate"
"Build a battery meter function"
"Measure button press time and do X after 5 seconds, Y after 10 seconds"
"Create a function so multiple devices can securely connect to each other via bluetooth"
How this will work as example for the printer, you will hold the button for 10 seconds and then it will print out a QR code with authentication details. You will then scan that with your barcode scanner and then they are connected. Some of the libraries for this has already been made, some you will need to make.
You will work directly with our PCB designer to completely understand every aspect of the devices. I will only oversee the process and set goals. We will send PCBs to you so you can run the code.
We aim to have this production ready in about 2 months. Many functions area already done and created.
You need to to be an expert senior ESP32 programmer. We use both ESP32-C3 and ESP32-S3 and only ESP-IDF. All code sharing will be on Github. We use WA and signal to communicate day to day operations. You will be expected to participate, problem solve and mesh well with the team.
For any application, please attach the most complicated code that you wrote yourself in ESP-IDF for ESP32. With some personal thoughts and details about why you solved things in a particular way.
