We are in the process of moving a forum from IPB 2.3.x to IPB 3.0.5. Currently, we have a skin on the IPB 2.3.x version of the site and would like the skin to be converted to IPB 3.0.5. This includes skinning the IPB blog and gallery. We have a custom portal and we do not require any conversion of that. The skin must be compatible with the major browsers, ie. Internet Explorer 6 +, Firefox and Safari. In particular, curved corners to the various areas must be visible in all of the above browsers and the signin area must be similar to the existing version of the skin. I expect that this can be done entirely within the IPB template system. To assist the developer, a test version of the forum will be made available and the winning bidder will have FTP access to upload graphics and appropriate access to the forums to allow the skin to be modified. The current skin includes areas for placing ads, these are not required in the new version of the skin, as the advertising system we use will be changed. Note that we are not expecting the conversion to be identical to the existing skin, but it must be close. The original skin is visible at [url removed, login to view]
The deliverables are a converted skin and any required graphics. The skin must be installed and working on the test forum that we make available to the developer. Acceptance of work will involve ensuring a good match to the original site and ensuring that all major IPB functions are still operational.
The forum's are run on a linux based server using Cpanel and the IPB forum software written in PHP.
