I am an inexperienced screen printer recently abandoned by my photoshop geek. I need help with colour separations using photoshop, and Illustrator. Most of the designs I work with are simple block colours without gradients or photographs and up to 5 colours max.
To print, I need to turn muticolour images .psd or .ai into separate images of each colour to print on acetate in order to make screens. I do not intend to do process colour or pantone matching. Is there someone who can teach me how to do this by walkthough and example? Or someone who can do it regularly on a price per design basis?
