Video Game Plan for Website Videos
We are a company in momentum who has recently committed to having online videos be a significant portion of our marketing strategy. Ultimately, we are looking for a reliable expert to outsource this segment of our business to on a regular weekly or monthly basis. This is a three-part pilot proposal. For those of you who are interested in working with us long-term and cannot take on the whole project, we ask that you consider completing segment one, called the “billboard” video. The results will determine positive, regular long-term returns for your business.
• The main video, which I refer to as the “billboard” video, was shot in five “chunks” or segments. These need to be edited, spliced, and enhanced accordingly into a two minute, hard-hitting product with a high-tech opener and close:
Segment One is the Intro, where David opens against a white background. It’s my understanding that pulling stills from the “Tall Ships” archive, for example, superimposed with reinforcing bullet points, is a quick and simple process for background power. I’m requesting that you please have Segment One back to us within a day or two so we can get a sense of what to expect going forward. It's 20-30 seconds at most.
Segments Two, Three, and Four will be comprised of the highest-impact sound and video bites -- the best of what Keith, Henry, and Heath have said. Include those moments that you know, better than I, will drive our intended outcomes: the viewer picking up the phone and registering for the tour being the “home run”.
Segment Five is David on the golf course, the final Call to Action. The video and transcription will be fully available to you, which would presumably allow you to splice it with the first four.
Any congruency issues, in style or whatever, between the five segments should be discussed and resolved prior to completion. I'm looking for a Monday Dec 8th completion for this piece of the project.
• The “Case Study” video is an extended version of Heath/Shogun. It should be a 60-90 second stand-alone product. Please note that in this video, as well as in Keith's and Henry’s, that the “interviewer” is to be muted, that it appears to be generated solely by the speaker in a natural tempo and rhythm. Let’s knock this project out no later than 8pm, Dec10 , 2014.
• The “testimonial” videos, are the remaining two of Keith and Henry. These are 20-30 second “pick-up-the-phone- and-call” products. I envision these as the prototypes of an ongoing series of testimonials from our tour clients. Please have these final two ready to upload by no later than Wednesday 3pm, December 12.
In summary, this is a three-part project. Given the quick-turnaround requirements our order of preference in job completion is: a) the “billboard” video (b) the “Heath Case Study” and (c) the three testimonial videos.
We will send you both the audio and video portions via Google Drive, and be at your service via phone or Skype.
