I need a developer who can code and build this website for me. This site will need to integrate with hundreds of devices on the internet sending information to it. The site will need to determine if the data received is within thresholds, and if not, it will need to send alerts to the customer (email, SMS, or even send code back to the device). This is a complex project, and will also need monthly support/maintenance for the life of the product (enhancements, maintenance, suggestions, etc). The website will need to send monthly reports to multiple customers, and all thresholds will need to be customisable by the end customers (for their alerts). History, reports, etc will all need to be customised. The site should run on a Linux server, and all testing will be carried out by another Freelancer. You will also need to provide documentation for the system, user guides, and you will also provide training to my end customer for system administration. Please quote "I can keep temperatures under control" in your response for it to be considered - If this is not quoted, your response will just be deleted. Please also let me know approximately how long (hours of effort and weeks of delivery) you think this project may take.

"I can keep temperatures under control" I've done this kind of work for an employer before and I know how complex it can become and at least some of the common pitfalls. If I may, I recommend that the website be developed separately from the backend (which sends and receives data from devices), or at least after the backend. Any time estimate would probably be way off in either direction since I know absolutely nothing about the protocols used, what's already been done (if any) or even the scope of the website (will there be public areas, admin areas, user areas?). If I were to *guess wildly*, I'd say just the API for devices to access and the part where clients get notified would take around 10-15 days in *effective time*. Again, this is just a guess and I need more information to give you an accurate estimate. It would be nice to know which protocols the devices use and the scope of the website!
