Create an elegant and robust design for a wristwatch

We are a Swiss watchmaking company with over 165 years of history, currently in the process of revitalizing our brand. We are looking for a designer to visualize a modernized version of one of our traditional watch models. Based on either our Airspeed model (aviation) or the Sports model (outdoor and military) we want you to modernize and evolve the design into an elegant yet robust, sturdy but fashionable design. The goal is to create a model wich incorporates our historic designs but is distinctly modern, elegant, sturdy and fashionable. It should be based on the previously described models (see the files provided) and bring those models into the 21st century. We will work with three designers who will each submit their vision of the design. For this first visualization we will pay $500 to each of the three applicants. After applying we will supply you with more detailed information and more visual references on our ideas for the new model. From these first three submissions we will then choose one person to continue our work with. In this second phase the design will be edited and refined after further discussion, and this process will be compensated with $1000.
