We wish to develop a full color prototype HTML 5 dashboard for a scientific application that consists of a table with selectable records. Once a record is selected a report for that record is then shown on the screen. The report will contain graphs and detailed scientific data as well as links to drill down into even more highly detailed documents.
This project is the first phase in which we will develop a mock up in material design style of the eventual application. In future phases of work, we will develop the actual UI.
The table on the left is the primary navigation interface. This table lists a large number of Comparisons in decreasing order of Confidence along with a number of other fields. Users can sort or filter on any combination of these fields (we want the appearance of sorting and filtering, but functionality is not required at this stage).
Once the user selects a particular comparison, detail results are shown in the interface (perhaps to the right or below the table). We show here six individual analyses selected randomly as we move from the top of the table downwards. The results are progressively weaker as we move down the table and this is reflected in the graphs and the associated sub tables. The results can be assigned a grade from (A) to (F) to summarize the statistical results that are delivered. There must also be links for additional drill down detail and log files. The black box in the (F) grade analysis on the right is a redacted word – simply replace with a placeholder.
These data are generated by complex mathematics designed by specialists but the results are handled by junior analysts with less training. Therefore, the interface should be as simple and friendly as possible.
In order to be considered for this project, please provide a link or example of other work you have performed in the scientific/mathematics domain. We are able to provide high resolution detailed assets that generated this draft PDF.
