The [url removed, login to view] is looking for a logo design for our upcoming project on TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership). The Atlantic Community, a sub-project of the Berlin-based Atlantische Initiative e.V., is an online foreign policy think tank that is primarily focused on issues affecting transatlantic relations (relations between the USA and the European Union). The project for which we need a logo for, titled "TTIP Review," is meant to provide a review of a wide range of information about the benefits, challenges, myths and facts surrounding the proposed partnership.
While there are already many logos out there to represent TTIP (google “TTIP logo” and you will find many a logo with handshakes or bridges with the American and EU flags used in some way), we are searching for something a bit more unique and eye-catching. We like the idea of using a rubix cube in some way for the logo, as it represents the push and pull kind of challenges that this partnership has experienced thus far. Of course, designs do not have to be limited to a rubix cube, but the use of an object or objects that represent finding a commonplace would be good. The logo should, above all, show that this is a partnership between the USA and the EU; so, each representative flag could certainly be included in the design. The logo design should, therefore, represent partnership, trade and investment (if possible) and the respective countries that are involved in the prospective partnership, as well as the title of the project, “TTIP Review.”
If you believe you are up to the challenge, please send us your ideas for such a logo design as we have described, as well as any former designs of yours that might be of a similar nature to what we are looking for (if you happen to have any). The logo design must be able to be scaled to various sizes for use on our website and various social media outlets, etc.
