We have a more data oriented web based application. Which is not user friendly but it's very power full.
Now we want to start with a clean sheet UX design that defines a simple to use task orientated cooperative web based environment (screen based no mobile app). An implementation group will then take this new UX and implemented this on top of what we have already.
The system is build in Java, runs on modern browsers and uses PrimeFaces as it's main component library.
We would like the user in it’s different application roles always have an over view of what is happening and what need to be done and clear how to do that. Less is more but we need to get the user to the power functions when needed.
The look we are after is a clean, very now but will age well, structured and predictable.
A pleasure / fun / efficient to work with.
We take this project in phases.
Phase 1. (this phase)
Discuss the app and what it does. Box in the main functions needed. And come-up with a couple of ideas / examples / how this can be solved. Based on that one is chosen and that one is further developed in a version in mockup illustrator, with screen layouts, menu setup, colors and a couple of use scenarios worked out based on the story we will provide and the material developed on this project.
Phase 2. (other project)
Work out / define all the use scenarios with us. And work out the mockups for these scenarios. Workout the different Reports and Reporting dash boards. (not in detail but in concept and Look and Feel)).
Phase 3. (other project)
What ever comes out of the previous ones.
