Chapter 1
Finding Ham & D
On June 6, 2016 real dinosaurs were discovered frozen in a iceberg near Iceland!
When a lightning bolt exploded into an iceberg during a storm it freed 2 dinosaurs from their icy prison and shocked their hearts, bring them back to life.
Roger Jolly was on the fishing boat “Bounty” and saw what had happened helped organize the rescue of the dinosaurs from the frigid water. The crew loved the dinosaurs and named the Hambone and D-Bomb. They were on their way back to Iceland when suddenly a huge pirate ship attacked them from behind.
Chapter 2
PIRATES!
After the explosions from the cannon balls, everyone was freaking out. All the crew not on duty ran up on the main deck. Off in the distance was a monstrous ship coming right for us. Just as everyone arrived on the deck, they fired a second cannon shot into the side of the ship.
“What's goin' on captain?” Leaky shouted.
“Pirates.” Said Captain Bly.
“What do they want?” Tofu asked
“They want our fish.” The captain said.
“We’ll fight them?” Dynomike challenged.
“We can't fight them? They have a cannon, and we don't even we have a gun. It's against the rules of our shipping company for us to have guns on board.”
“That’s just wrong!” said Jolly. “How can we defend ourselves? There are no police out here.”
“What are they going to do Captain?” Leaky asked.
“First thing we have to do is hide Ham and D. Make sure they’re safe. We don’t want anything to happen to them. The trouble is after they steal our fish. They’ll have to sink our ship with all of us aboard, or we can tell the authorities who they are, and they'll all go to prison.
“What do you want me to do?” Nick asked.
“Like Jolly said. There are no police out here. We’re three days from our port, so there is no way help will arrive in time to save us. But you can radio Iceland and tell them what’s happening. We don’t have any weapons to defend ourselves. But maybe we can stop this from happening to someone else.”
Jolly looked at Dynomike. “I’m not giving up.”
“No way!” said Dynomike.
The Captain thought for a moment. “Jolly go make the sure the boys are safe and stay hidden. Dynomike, you and Jack. You go find some kind of weapons you may be our only chance.”
Dynomike new exactly where he was going. He went below decks, straight to the repair shop. He found Leaky the engineer’s backpack and filled it with hammers and put it on backwards. He had Jack tie the shoulder straps together behind his back to keep it from falling off. Now he could either fight with hammers in each hand or throw them.
Dynomike began pacing back and forth like a Tiger in a cage. He was ready to go to war. He knew he had to be patient and wait for the right time to attack. If he and Jack failed they would lose the ship and everyone aboard.
