I need a pen or pencil black and white drawing of a male panhandler carrying a gas can. The rest is up to your imagination and artistic skill. He can be any race, though most panhandlers that I have encountered are white. He can be fat or skinny, old or young, wearing a hat or not. I live in the suburban Cincinnati, Ohio area. Frequently when I am at a gas station getting gas by myself, I am approach at the pump by a panhandler. I am never approached when I have anyone with me. The panhandlers always have a similar hard luck story. They are on their way to a funeral or to see a family member seriously ill or injured, and they have run out of gas and have no money. They hate to ask me, but I am their last hope. Sometimes, the panhandler has a vehicle parked nearby which usually has a woman companion waiting in it. Some panhandlers are polite, and some are aggressive and intimidating. Some will ask me if I have a gas can before asking for money, others ask for money right away. Some ask for a ride somewhere. I am creating a 5 x7 postcard to give to panhandlers who ask me for a gas can, money, or a ride. On the front will be your drawing. On the back will be an explanation of why I am not giving them any if those things. It will not be profane or rude. I may also use the drawing on my as of yet uncreated blog about my encounters with panhandlers. You must be willing waive any copyright rights to the drawing.
