We are launching a website dedicated to helping skiers choose the proper equipment. Alpine skis can have very different properties, especially in flexion and torsion profiles. Each property has a huge impact on the behavior of the ski. The system I'm launching is an intelligent ski selector that considere the basic properties of a given ski. We measure flexion and torsion profiles and categorize skis in order to help people select what alpine ski they will prefer.
The word Sooth comes from old English vocabulary, it is not used anymore, but means "truth". Sooth is used in the current word "soothsayer". The choice of this word as our company name reflects what we do, we measure the "truth" about skis and our website ski selector will act as a "soothsayer", predicting what skis each user will like.
The slogan we use is "True product data", because our selector is based on measuring basic properties of each item added in our database. Therefore we provide the truth to users who are looking for advice on their new equipment.
