as a software company, we sell a solution with a WPF client application connected to a SQL Server hosted at us. The WPF client is stored on our website and deployed via ClickOnce.
In order to provide new functionality to our customers, we would like to:
- move the SQL server into Azure
- create a html5 login connected to an Azure Active Directory that will launch the WPF ClickOnce client
- let the WPF client connect to a Windows Azure VHD via Virtual Network Point-to-Site Connectivity (we have posted this small project on freelancer)
- later, create a small HTML5/WCF client for mobile app
We have a good knowledge of C#, but we start learning Azure and webservices, and we expect an expert to help us do the architecture and follow/train us during the implementation. Project as to be set by the end of 2013.
We believe a good deal would be meeting over skype around one hour per day, deciding how to organize the work the rest of the day. We have a 2 people team working full time on the project. With you helping 2 or 3 hours, in 4 weeks a good part of the project should be implemented.
Do you like the project? What do you think of the plan?
