Create a simple web-socket project using the following technologies:
Eclipse or IntelliJ, Jetty web server, Tomcat. Optional Maven.
Browser connects to a web-socket hosted on JETTY server.
A web service running on TOMCAT sends every 30 seconds a message contained in a simple POJO object to JETTY websocket.
JETTY websocket broadcast the message to all connected web browser instances. Each instance will display the message on an HTML page.
Note: This is a one way communication webscoket. Meaning, web browsers do no send request to JETTY websocket.
