Programmer

Hello, My name is Erika and I work for IU Health. We had a freelance programmer leave us recently and need to back fill her role. Please note while this work is freelance in nature, we average about 20 hours/week of work needed, so someone with more consistent bandwidth in their schedule is desired. Please see below for an overview of the work required. Building customized digital asset management marketing templates to be shared statewide with all hospital affiliates and team members through IU Health’s system – Brand Center. Programming is done through our DAM partner, Brand Muscle by building templates using their Marketport Toolkit system. Main responsibility -- programming and maintenance management of all Brand Center templates: * preparation of all new and updated templates including pricing, workflows, storefront * QC/troubleshooting issues regarding templates, site functionality, navigation, admin use * audit Brand Center templates for content and structural updates, as necessary * Marketport upgrade review * assist with strategic thinking regarding current and future user, admin and vendor experiences * audits as necessary to check for outdated materials Toolkit itself is a Java-related program, but we don’t do anything at all with that directly. The programming aspect of the job is what we use Toolkit for. It’s what allows us to build the templates. But it’s a software platform – we’re not custom-writing the web code to make Toolkit or the template operate. That is already set in place by BrandMuscle. We use their pre-populated platform to add our specific templates to our site that they built.
