Squarespace coding help

I have asked two questions in Squarespace answers. I can no longer wait for answers.

I need 2 things rather quickly.

1. I need to make these image hovers responsive.

2. I need to figure out what triggers the blog post save button to save. I tried inspecting the element. It would not let me. I am looking at Skye and Tudor as templates for this.
