Our small, fast-growing company in Lagos has reached the point where consistent, on-site HR support is essential. I need an experienced HR officer—minimum two years in a similar generalist role—who can spend 2.5 days each week in our office and take full ownership of two core areas: Recruitment & Onboarding and Employee Relations. You will drive the entire recruitment cycle for new hires, from crafting and posting compelling job ads, actively sourcing talent on LinkedIn and other channels, through coordinating and sometimes running interviews, right up to offer management and day-one onboarding. A steady stream of junior and mid-level roles is in the pipeline, so an eye for culture fit and speed without sacrificing quality is vital. Within employee relations, the team relies on clear processes and a trusted point of contact. You will field and resolve employee grievances early, run performance-management check-ins, and introduce practical training or development sessions that keep motivation high. We use an ERP to manage our environment. Deliverables each week are straightforward: • Updated recruitment tracker with candidate status, interview notes, and next actions • Draft and circulate offer letters and onboarding packs within 24 hours of approval • Issue-free grievance log with resolutions or escalation path documented • Performance-review calendar kept current and any overdue actions highlighted • Short report outlining completed training initiatives and upcoming needs Success will be measured by time-to-hire, employee satisfaction scores, and how smoothly day-to-day HR requests are handled. All work must be carried out in our Lagos office for at least two full days plus one half-day that we’ll schedule together for maximum team overlap.
