Hi there, I understand that you are looking for traditional art for your graphic novel, pencil and ink line drawings. I just read the brief and I'm very interested in the project, as the story seems to have all traits of a great read and I imagine it would be great fun to work on the illustrations. I'm a traditionally trained artist and I've been working professionally as an old-school illustrator for many years, although I sometimes also accept fine art commissions, as well as tattoo designs. I'm comfortable with all traditional media, but in a way I'm specialized in detailed pen and ink drawings and I probably enjoy the media the most. I have almost two dozen published children's books titles, several poetry books illustrated, also couple of non fiction publications. Artistically, I'mostly inspired by Moebius and Miyazaki, also Serggio Toppi. As I work by hand on paper, I would first prepare pencil sketches and proceed with inking after they are approved. I'm not sure how complex you envision your illustrations, but in any case, I suggest 50 USD per page as an approximate rate for a completed pen and ink page delivered in digital form as a high res scan. I'm an professional comic book artist, I have already created comic books and graphic novels which ones are printed and published. I also was working with the guys from MARVEL an DC, and I work fast. The project is large indeed, If you need not just a cheap looking pages, I would say 13 000 would be a good price for it, it will be like $ 23 per page, it's a really good price for the professionally made, compositionally balanced, detailed page I guess .
