Project Description We are publishing a non-fiction business book (HR / management topic). The content is fully written and finalized. We are looking for an experienced book formatter to convert our manuscript into a professional, publication-ready EPUB compatible with major platforms such as Amazon Kindle and Apple Books. This is a formatting and conversion project only. No writing or content editing is required. Materials Provided You will receive: • Access to a Google Sheets document containing the full manuscript (organized by tabs/chapters) • A separate folder with all infographic and visual assets • The final book cover (already designed) • Tables already structured to match page dimensions All content and assets are final. Scope of Work 1. Book Formatting • Clean, professional formatting suitable for a business book • Consistent styling across: o Headings and subheadings o Body text o Tables o Captions • Full color preservation (infographics must remain in color) 2. Table of Contents • Create a clickable Table of Contents • Compatible with: o Amazon Kindle o Apple Books o Standard EPUB readers 3. EPUB Conversion • Deliver a fully validated EPUB file • Ready for direct upload to: o Amazon KDP o Apple Books • Ensure: o Proper navigation o No broken layouts o Correct image embedding o Cross-device readability 4. Cover Integration • Proper integration of the provided cover • Ensure correct sizing and EPUB compliance Technical Requirements (Mandatory) • Final EPUB must support color (no black-and-white output) • EPUB must pass validation checks for Amazon and Apple Books • No DRM or platform lock-in Deliverables (Non-Negotiable) 1. Final, publication-ready EPUB file 2. Editable source file used to generate the EPUB (InDesign, Vellum, Scrivener, Sigil, or equivalent) No software access or licenses are required. Full file ownership is mandatory. Required Experience Please apply only if you have: • Proven experience formatting EPUB books • Experience publishing for Amazon KDP and/or Apple Books • Ability to work from Google Sheets or exported content • Prior examples or portfolio of book formatting work

Hi, for a responsive Table of Content, MS Word would be the most reliable option, so what I suggest is that we can do the page designing and image adjusting in an Adobe program and then import it on to Word and create the final version in Word. Also the Word file is editable, and can be easily converted into a PDF which is the format that publishing platforms require for uploading. I am interested owing to having shaped up several books and having helped with the publishing on various platforms. Thanks & regards, Vinita.
