I am contemplating hiring a virtual assistant if I can get a reliable and affordable person. I have a few online businesses that require day to day marketing & management. Good communication skills are essential and if you have limited Photoshop & social media management skills it would be an advantage. I'm not talking a designer, but the ability to handle basics of creating images for blog posts and social shares. There would be a fair amount of data capturing initially.
This job would not be conventional repetitive work once we get through the data capturing. I am looking for an individual who understands marketing (online especially) and would be able to grow with my businesses. This would involve some market research too and marketing via email. It's also very important that you have WordPress content management or general CMS experience.
A fair amount of email management will also come into play as the businesses grow. Everything will be managed in a project management system where I'd require time to be logged.
Freelancers with solid experience will have a better chance. I don't want to commit long term before the holidays, but I AM indeed looking to make this a more permanent fixture in the new year if the return on investment is good enough.
