How does a TRIP work?
TRIP program is a “Tailor made program” to ensure maximum exploration in a very cost effective manner.
NGO FUNDS INDIA (NFI) being a National NGO network has “Registered NGO Partners”(RNPs) who are involved in successful hosting of a TRIP for mutual benefits of the explorer and the explored.
The local NGO will arrange your comfortable stay in the area alongwith the local families. These families will be identified and compensated by the NGOs. After your consent you can stay with the family for number of days as per your wish.
Once you live with these families, you will be treated equally.
You can witness their day to day life starting from milking of cows- bringing water from wells- washing clothes – cooking food in Chulha (mud stove)- taking cattles to the forest for grazing- farming their land- evening strolls besides the lakes- cup of tea with local snacks- gossips at the central place- watching stars in clear skies while sleeping- a life without laptops, mobiles and sometimes even without electricity – ‘Yet Smiling’
Unknowingly, by the end days, you will gain a new perspective of life. Believe us, you will get many answers to the questions as mentioned above.
