I need to create a plug in App for intuit QUickbooks Payment App appl. The app need to deliver the following functionalities.
Client installed plugin is to execute the following functions:
created a Expense account named ExpenceATH_fee
Creates a Bank type account named ATH_Bank
Creates an item nemed ATH_fee
Creates an item named ATH_payment
Create a Vendor names ATH_business
After the accounts are setup, the client will have option to import an excel sheet with contain columsn with the following information:
Transaction ID, date, name, phone, memo, total , fee, gross deposit, email
The app function is to read this excel sheet and execute the following order of steps:
1- verify that the client name is listed in the QBO customer list. If there is a match continue from step 3.
2. Create a new customer using the row information name, email and phone number
4- Create a new sales receipt using the client name, transaction date and memo. The iteam used is payment_ath. Under receipt memo used info from memo. The sales goes to UNDEPOSIT FUND account.
5- Creates a TRANSACTION JOURNAL with a credit for the amount of total gross and 2 debits. The credits are a) the ATH_fee with the excel ATH fee and b) the ATH_bank with amount from the excel gross deposit amount. The Debit is to the UNDEPOSIT FUNDS. Each one of the three description lines are to copy the TRANSACTION ID. The memo field with transaction ID. The ATH_fee paid to vendor is ATH_business
