Full-Time Pharmacist in Botswana

Our busy retail pharmacy in Botswana needs a licensed pharmacist on a full-time basis. Day-to-day work centres on three core activities: safely dispensing prescription and OTC medicines, offering professional pharmaceutical consultations to patients, and keeping stock levels accurate through proactive inventory management. A typical shift involves verifying scripts, counselling customers on proper medication use and possible interactions, and updating our digital stock system so shelves stay replenished. The role is entirely on-site in the retail setting, so you’ll interact directly with walk-in clients and coordinate with our sales team to ensure seamless service. Regulatory compliance and adherence to Botswana Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority standards are non-negotiable. Deliverables • Continuous, error-free dispensing service during agreed store hours • Documented patient consultations (brief notes logged in the POS software) • Weekly inventory reconciliation report highlighting expiries, re-orders and discrepancies I’ll provide orientation to our dispensing software and store protocols on your first day.
