iPad mini-game

Please see the attached (draft) specification of the mini-game. It needs to be developed for all iPad versions - but only for iPad.

Requirements for bidding:

You have made something similar (iOS application/game involving the described areas, Facebook integration, sound, animations, in-app purchases etc.). Please let us have references, either to App Store or other examples.

Letters A, E, I, O, U and Y will be released first, then in-app purchase of the rest of letters will be added later on. This is a key feature to be able to make those add-ons easily. The supplier is required to describe how this will be handled before bidding on the job.

The supplier must describe the development process, test phases, corrections etc. how faults are handled afterwards. Is debugging/tracing like TestFlight used.

The supplier must also describe which development tools are used, which libraries etc are used.

The source code (and all rights to it) of the app must be supplied to us.

There will be a 10% milestone payed upon start, but after the supplier have review the requirements and clarified all questions. Any questions not clarified/asked for clarification from the supplier should be handled by the supplier without any extra cost during development.

A 50% payment when app is delivered and first review is done to ensure all major parts are working.

10% payment when app is in App Store, and 10% after each month the next three months as a warranty period. (one month after launch=10%, 2 months after launch=10%, 3 months after launch=10%).

We will try to screen 2-5 suppliers from the bids and supply them with the actual graphics to review their offers (just to be sure no misunderstanding on the actual layout etc).

As first line of bidding, please write "puzzle teaching" to let us know you have read the specification and requirements. Please do not write personal messages unless you have specific questions for clarification. Messages as "please pick me, I can deliver" will disqualify you right away (sorry to be so hard, but we gets a lot of messages and unqualified bids)

It is required to specify how many hours is needed for the generic parts and how many is needed for the parts specific to the letter "A" (To get an estimate on the needed work for the next letters). We will need both the number of hours needed to make the app and the expected time (days) from we say “go” and until the app is ready.

Please note, our decision on who to go with, will not be base on if you can deliver in 4 days or 6 days. It is only to let us know what to expect/plan from.

Furthermore your hourly price is needed. We aim for finding one supplier for the entire project, but we will go by the letter "A" (and generic parts) as first part and to make sure we have a good working relationship. Our aim is to continue development of apps during a long period (this is first and pretty simple app in a larger portfolio)

We will not choose any supplier before the bidding time is over. If you bid 1 hour after start or 5 minutes before the bidding period ends, you will be taken into considerations exactly the same way. What matters is the “quality” of your bid, as described above.
