We have a requirement to use an iPad Mini as the user interface device on one of our projects. The iPad needs to connect via Bluetooth to a micro controller which essentially monitors approx 5 leakage currents and takes samples at approx once every 0.5 seconds.
The user interface needs to be able to display instantaneous values as well as time graphs. All the data to be displayed will reside in the controller i.e. the iPad does not need to permanently store the data. The iPad will also need to allow the user to enter configuration parameters which are then transmitted to the controller.
The project is at the proof-of-concept stage and we need someone to initially advise on feasibility and to produce a working demo (using any Bluetooth device capable of simulating our controller). Although we've entered a budget for the project, we're aware that dialogue needs to take place. We're also keen to use the same developer to implement the real solution and to participate in the detailed design.
At this stage, we're simply asking if you're keen and able to assist.
