This is stage one of my project. If the pilot works out and you can prove that you can complete the work I will extend the project to full phase one stage.
The idea: allow people to fill in key info via a number of form fields and then post their formal offer of purchase via email to an estate agent or individual/company.
The input of the forms will be broken into steps (more detail to be provided later) but essentially there will be free text, date, number, and option fields to complete (about 40 fields - not all will be mandatory).
Once the user has completed all the forms the app will output a PDF file overlaying the data the users has completed in the appropriate place. I will provide a blank version of the PDF in phase 2 but for the pilot I just want to see the data output to a PDF.
The user must also be able to sign and initial the document in a number of places. For this I require two ways to input the signature.
1. Sign a piece of paper then take a photo of it.
2. use their finger or a stylus to draw the signature.
Once the signature is saved the user should be able to touch and hold anywhere on a preview of the PDF and "insert" their saved signature or initials.
Once all this is complete the user can preview and then email the pdf.
So to summarize the core functionality I need:
- Multi-step form with a range of fields and hidden options
- Input of signature using methods above, then allowing placement of the signature anywhere on the page.
- Preview and save of pages
- output and email PDF once completed.
The pilot does not need to be overly designed - I just want to see that you can get form fields outputting on to a page in the app, inserting the signature and sending the completed document.
