Java webservice to receive and transmit XML data over HTTPS connection This should work as follows, Listner a)Service is always listening to receive XML data streamed over HTTPS b)The other party will send the data to our URL i.e. [url removed, login to view] c)When it received the data it can parse to ensure its valid XML, if yes then save the data as a flat file across a network share. d)Once that file is saved then it sends back a “everything OK?? XML message to the sender of the file to their HTTPS listener. Or if the parser showed invalid XML it sends back a failure code to the sender. Sender a)Program can be passed an input parameter of a local file e.g. “[url removed, login to view] ??" c:\[url removed, login to view]? b)The program sends this file to a HTTPS listener on another URL e.g. [url removed, login to view] c)The receiver will send back an acknowledgment, if negative or no acknowledgment it can re-try a send, if fails after X times then it gives up and saves a [url removed, login to view] file listing the input filename and failure reason. This will run on Windows 2003 server R2 and latest Java.
