I have an assignment which is based on Java RMi-based Client/Server application. It has to submitted on or before 25/10/2009. Here is the assignment:
Write and deploy a simple, Java RMI-based Client/Server application, in which the (multithreaded) Server serves requests of remote Java Clients for mathematical operations. This is a simple Math Service, which we'll refer to as MathService. It will allow users to perform the following operations: Add, Subtraction, Multiply, Square, etc.
In addition, MathService will have the following resource properties (RPs for short):
Value (integer), and Last Operation performed (string)-ADDTION, SUBTRACTION,
MULTIPLY, SQUARE, etc.
Java language, Java RMI, and Multithreaded programming.
I should be able to present the solutions of the programming assignment on the computer.
1. Correctness (i.e. Does it do what’s supposed to?) 60%
2. Error handling (i.e. Can it easily be crashed?) 20%
3. Documentation (i.e. Is it easy to read and understand the code? How easy
can it be installed and how should it be used?) 20%
