Firstly - Town autofill (based on the postcode and country)
We have discovered a script that already does this... it just needs some minor changes. The current script uses a postcode and country input box to send date to a GEO database and return a list of possible towns (which are displayed in a css dropdown). If there is only one possible town, it automatically adds it to the town input box. Currently the dropdown displays the country code, postcode and name of town. We want it to just show the town. Here is the script...

Secondly - Towns within a given radius (based on their town and distance entered)
We believe that this can be achieved using some of the code already written in the script from above. But instead, the script queries the database with details of the town, country and radius. and a list of towns are returned within the given radius. But instead of appearing in a dropdown, they're automatically entered into a textbox.
Both scripts query a database from [url removed, login to view] . Applicants will need to familiarise them self's with this service. As we require confirmation that our requests are indeed possible, using geonames.org.
