This project envisages an executable that can run in console mode or can be called from another program. Multiple instances of runtime required.
The program will analyse a bitmap or jpeg image file for a specific spattern or logo. The pattern or logo will be stored seperately as bitmap or jpeg image. Upto 200 known patterns (templates) will be stored and the program must search and identify the presence of a template in the images that reside in raw data folder.
On identifying the presence of a pattern in the basic data image, the program will update a database with the name of the template and the name of the image file it has found the template in.
The basic images will be made available in folder called 'snapshots' and the templates will be in a folder called 'templates'. After a match, the basic image has to be deleted in the folder. Fresh Images for matching will be added to the folder by another program.
Process time available is 2 seconds to identify one of 200 logos or patterns inside a single bitmp or jpeg image.
Deliverables: A command line executable that locates one of 200 known known patterns inside a bitmap or jpeg within 2 seconds. After a match, the program updates a database with result and deletes the bitmap or peg. Executable should allow for multiple threads. Source Code. API. Instruction Manual.
