I would like to see some of the provider’s works before pick one of them. Also I want to notify that I'm a graphic designer so I will work &amp;amp;quot;hand by hand&amp;amp;quot; with the selected provider of service. Every text, layout, picture, logo or advertisement will be supplied by me at any requested size. I included here a lay-out of the home page of the proyect which I want develop, but it was made before I decided to include the photographic cathegory, so it will have a little modification.
I want to create a Photoshop internet site, in which Photoshop users and/or photographers from Latin-America can open an account to participate of contests, tutorials, forums and some other stuffs. The site have to be in spanish language because users will be spanish speakers, but text will be supplied by me. There are a lot of Photoshop and/or Photographics sites around the internet but the most similar layouts of the one wich I want to create are [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view] , but I don’t want a clone site, my idea will have just two categories, not like those sites wich have some categories and fields. Feel free to open an account at any of those sites to see how they work, how look the profiles, awards, forums, hall of fame and some similar stuff wich I would like to add to my site.
To join the site visitors most have first to link the join option, then have to appear all the site guides and rules, then at the final an option of agree all. By clicking the agree option will appear another window on which &amp;amp;quot;not yet users&amp;amp;quot; have to choose a user-name (wich have to be unique from others), and some general information as real name and lastname, e-mail, address, birthday and short biography. Also user have to select the country of his/her origin, which will be the official team of the user. When users finish their registration process, then will appear his/her stats/account page. In some other Photoshop sites users have a desk or trophy mantle where are suppossed to be the trophies that the user won at contests, but I want to be a little different so I want every user have as trophy mantle the flag of his/her country. Every latin-american country most be included, also have to be included Spain, Portugal &amp;amp;amp; Brazil, and additional flag with the world map and a messange “latin-american at the exterior” for international users; flags will be supplied too. Also the member could up-load an avatar, wich have to appear at his profile/account, and an option to edit it if he/her want to change it for another after the submition. This avatar can be a jpg or gif file, but it’s size can’t be more than 60k. At the left side of the profile most be place a table of awards where users can see the quantity of trophies that that user won, it most be divided by places, example: gold, silver, bronze, Picture of the Week, and “sweepwinner” award which meants that the user won the 3 firsts places at same contest. Also most appear there the jury’s stars for the favorites entries, and voting stars for the fair voters, also the average score by entry and the average percent of jury’s stars by participation. Every profile most be public, visible to other members so others can see the entries and the general information of the member (username, age, country and biography). Each profile most have an option to see an image gallery based on member’s entries.
To participate visitors most have an account. Participations of members will be free, with no limit of entries. To participate in a contest members just have to click on the themepost of the contest or the contest’s name link. Then will appear the official contest section, but participations will be hidden untill the submition period finish. There have to be the oficial contest’s rules and the themepost, wich can be an old entry of another contest, it most show the credit of the author (link to his/her account) and the name of the contest wich appeared that entry (link to the contest) an the name (link) of the old entry. Also most be there a link to up-load the entry, wich can’t be more than 250k of size. Entries can be edited while submition period are not finish. The submition time will be 5 days (120 hours).
Since an entry are submited, another link most be appear under the image of the entry, this link will be a link option to flag the entry, and this will still visible even the contest would over. This will get the opportunity to the regular members who think this entry broke any rule to notify the jurors or administrators about that, but this will be confidential to the other regular members.
This period will start imediatly as the submition time finish and it will be for 48 hours. Every member can vote in any contest, but votes will be measure by a karma score system wich will be based by the vote habits of the member. This karma will start at 10 for new members and most be changed every time the member vote, to increase or reduce it depends on the “fair” votes, the deviation of the mayority of the votes and the percent of voted entries. Voters most vote in all entries to get karma points or vote stars. Karma score will be until 175 for regular members, 300 for jurors and 500 for administrators; but the karma of jurors and administrator will not change even they vote “unfair”, because they will have all my trust. Vote options will be from 1 until 10, but regular members just will vote from 3 to 10, if they vote 1 or 2 they will lost some karma points, and also will not receive a vote star. Every voter can vote as many times he/she want, but just will count the first time. Voters that are participating in a contest can vote in all entries except on his/her own entries, but this will not affect the percent of votes as far as he/her vote in the 100% of other entries. Also each entry most have an option to comment on it, comments most show the sender’s usernames as link to his/her account, and show the date and time from it was made; exept by comments who did the author of the entry, which most appear as &amp;amp;quot;hidden author&amp;amp;quot; untill the voting period finish. Also an option to edit it, but every edited comment most have the word edited on (date, time).
As soon as a member voted in a contest he/her can click on a link to see the leaders in the contest in an additional window, this most be refreshed every minute, but if the voter do not vote in the 100% of the entries and click the view leaders option then will appeared an advice window with the percent of the voted entries and option to finish the voting act. Members are not obligated to vote, but if someone is participating in a contest and decide to not vote, then most be appeared a “no vote” score at his/her profile in the section of awards.
As soon as the votation period finish, the winners will be published at the home page and in the contest by itselfe the participation most be re-organized by the hightest score until the lower. And the cycle will start again with a new contest.
Awards will be almost all just cybernetic, so this most be easy to set. Any money award will be paid by bank wire. The different awards will be the following:
First place (gold)-selected by voting.
Second place (silver)-selected by voting.
Third place (bronze)-selectecd by voting.
Sweepwinner- this is an automatic award give to any participant wich won the 3 first places in any contest.
Picture of the week-selected by the Mayor Administrator.
Juror’s stars-selected by any juror or administrator.
Voting star-selected by automatic system of vote.
There will be 4 kind of members: Mayor Administrator, Administrators, jurors, and members.
Members- Able to participate in any contest, create or comment in any visible forum.
Jurors- They will be selected by any of the administrators and will have almost all access to the site and the power to erase or edit any comment in an entry or forums. They could warning any regular member for broke any of the sites rules. They will be able to participate in any contest, but their 300 of karma score will not be affected by any deviation or “unfair” votation. Able to award with juror’s starts. There in the site most be a “invisible” juror’s room (blog) to talk about any flag entry, disqualification, rules, up-grades, situations outside the general forums area.
Administrators- They will be selected just by the Mayor Administrator. They will have all access to the site and the power to close or reactivate any account, to disqualify any entry, to erase or edit any comment in an entry or forums. They could up-grade or de-grade a member as a juror or as administrator in any moment, EXEPT BY THE MAYOR ADMINISTRATOR account. They have to be able to post the new contest themes or up-date any rule of the site. They will be able to participate in any contest, but their 500 of karma score will not be affected by any deviation or “unfair” votation. Able to award with juror’s stars. There in the site most be a “invisible” Administrator’s room (blog) to talk about any flag entry, diqualification, rules, up-grades, situations outside the general forums or juror’s area or talk about jurors. Able to to see or comment at the juror’s room.
Mayor Administrator- That will be me, the owner, I will have all access to the site and the power to close or reactivate any account, to disqualify any entry, to erase or edit any comment in an entry or forums, I could up-grade or de-grade a member as a juror or as administrator in any momment. I have to be able to post the new contest themes or up-date any rule of the site. I will be able to participate in any contest, but my 500 of karma score will not be affected by any deviation or “unfair” votation. I have to be able to up-load or change any advertisement at the site. Able to award with juror’s stars and the onlyone able to award with the “Picture of the Week”. Able to participate at the Administrator’s room (blog) to talk about any flag entry, diqualification, rules, up-grades, situations outside the general forums or juror’s area or talk about jurors. General Information of the Site:
At the home page will be placed 3 advertisements: The principal at the top, secundary at one of the sides and the 3rd at the buttom of it. This ads most be placed on every diferent page or window. All of 3 most be programmed to link the clients official sites or any other address. Also most be included there a news part wich will consist in the last 3 active threads of the general forums or any other. Additional a short description of the site with a rules’ link. And some additional links of clients with a short description of the service that they offer.
If member click on any of the contest’ link this most take the member to the specific contest .
If member click on the “Picture of the Week “ then most be opened the Picture of the week gallery.
Some of the links that will be at the top of the site will be: Sign in, open an account, contact us, advertisements, our services, homepage, my account, galleries, forums, hall of fame, and tutorials.
• The forums area most be divided in some parts: General Forums &amp;amp;amp; Contest ideas, but in that part is where are supossed to be the invisible forums of jurors and administrators.
•The Tutorial link most bring the member to another page with a little preview picture of the tutorials an the title as link. Once time the member are in the secific tutorial he/she choosed there most be showed it by steps as picture and information.
•under all forums threads most be a list of the members wich have their birthday that day.
