We want to use hudson as scheduler for jobs at our various server. You start a job, by calling an given url and listening for the response. The reponse will be the logging details for the job and should be displayed as a kind of 'console output'. The http status code signals if the job was succesfull. So basically we need a hudson plugin with the following functionality. 1. Supply the url that should be called 2. Call the url whenever the job is started on hudson 3. Schedule the job, if possible just use default hudson functonality 4. Listening for response and pipe this to console output or a similar logging mechanism 5 Report jobs succes/failure based on http status code of called url It should be possible to configure these jobs as you do with a normal build job and schedule them as well.
