European Software Developers / Teaching Assistants who can teach bootcamps in Saudi Arabia

About the project:

The team is looking for bootcamp teachers/trainers who want to live a unique professional experience of 14 weeks in Saudi Arabia. Courses we will be teaching include various disciplines: KOTLIN, SWIFT and FULLSTACK JAVA (SPRINGBOOT / SPRING DATA JPA)

A total of 8 bootcamps will be held at the same time, so there will be a community of teachers, teacher assistants and program managers during the 3 months of the course.

All courses will be taught in English, so a proficient English level is required. Course content will be developed by Ironhack and be ready for teachers.

The Teaching Assistants will be required to have 1-3 years of filed experience, in Java or Kotlin or Swift

Stack required:

Java - Any JavaScript front-end framework (Angular Preferred); Spring Boot/Spring Data JPA in backend

Kotlin - SQLite, Room, JUnit, Mockito; experience with full Android app development

Swift - SwiftUI, Firebase; experience with full iOS app development

Start date: Sep 10

End date: Dec 30

Desired profile

- Programmer. Strong knowledge of the tech stack to be taught (min. 3 years of experience)

- Fluent English level, since the classes will be taught in this language.

- It is highly valued that the candidate has previous experience as a trainer or teacher in bootcamps and other courses. Coaching experience is also highly valued.

- Full availability for the dates of the project, as it is strictly onsite in Saudi

- We will also need your CV in English.

- The role will be in a Freelance mode and an NDA will be required.

-Visa, accommodation, flight tickets will be covered by Ironhack

Remuneration package:

14 weeks project (2 week onboarding + 12 week bootcamp)

-JAVA Teaching Assistants: €1,000 per week (€14,000 in total)

-KOTLIN /SWIFT Teaching Assistants: €1,250 per week (€17,500 in total)

Onboarded via Freelancer.

Accommodation: fully covered by Ironhack (not meals)

Flights: fully covered by Ironhack

Visa paperwork: fully covered by Ironhack

COVID Passport: instructors need to take 2 doses of vaccination and the brands that are acceptable for the Saudi authorities: AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech, Janssen (x1 dose)
