You should find an efficient approach to VMs and tasks scheduling which lead to increase performance and reduce power consumption. The efficiency of proposed approach is demonstrated by power consumption and performance. The power consumption will be illustrated by the amount of power consumed by datacenter after all tasks executed and VMs released, which needed to be minimized and any additional measurement you suggest. The performance will be illustrated by number of cloudlet performed during time unit which needed to be maximized and waiting time which needed to be minimized and any additional measurement you suggest Fitness functions that combine between previously mentioned factors will be developed and applied using PSO in two levels (VMs level and Cloudlet level). VMs will be classified into several categories Depends on its size (CPU, storage and memory,ect) which demonstrated the VM group priority(capacity) , the tasks will also be classified into several categories depends on its resources that needed which demonstrated the tasks group priority(capicatiy). Each category of VMs will be allocated into hosts using PSO, after that tasks will be scheduled using PSO. In each iteration, VMs allocation fitness function will be calculated in addition to task scheduling fitness function to formulate over all approach fitness function. In this research we consider that we have independent tasks and also no migration tasks between VMs. Simulation parameters initially as the fowling table and I can change it any time . No. Resource Number of instances 1 Data center 1 2. Hosts 10 3 Virtual machine 1000 4 Cloud let 10000 The requirements: 1. You should implement the previous proposal. 2. You should implement other algorithms like round robin, FIFS, SJF, priority queues. 3. You should output the results under different conditions and combine between it, and show it as a chart. 4. You should provide code documentation to help me understand the code and change on it if I need as i want. 5. Work parameter like number of virtual machine and number of cloudlets ,ect should be parameters .
