I use Yahoo! Finance MarketTracker for real-time quotes. This appears to be a java application. I have multiple portfolios up to 3000 symbols each that I want to track using MarketTracker.
With MarketTracker running in the background, I need to be able to feed real-time quotes from MarketTracker into Excel.
The basic real-time data I need are: Last trade price, last trade time, previous day's close, open price, high price, low price, and volume. (These fields are all available in MarketTracker.)
I do not want an HTML screen scrape from YAHOO! or a CSV download file from YAHOO! --- I need the real-time data to come directly from the Yahoo! Finance MarketTracker java application only. (I have previously tried to log into my premium YAHOO! account and scrape real-time quotes or use Excel Add-ins to get real-time quotes, but in most cases am getting the 15 min. delayed quotes rather than real-time quotes. I suspect YAHOO! is not permitting bulk real-time feeds, even for paying subscribers.)
Ideally, I would like to be able to enter 3000+ symbols into an excel spreadsheet (i.e. the same symbols that are populated in my YAHOO! Finance MarketTracker portfolios) and have the real-time data populate into Excel. (Last trade price, last trade time, previous day's close, open price, high price, low price, and volume.) It is not a requirement that the data in excel be streaming, but it is a requirement that I am able to refresh the data at intervals that I specify automatically like every 1 or 5 minutes.
The excel file attached links the free delayed quotes from MSN into the excel spreadsheet as an example. Each tab is limited to 100 symbols due to MSN restrictions, so I would preferably want all symbols for this project to be in one tab.

Please note that we can read data from the Yahoo web Service and populate the excel sheet as asked by you, delays cannot be guaranteed as it is as Yahoo is giving). Thanks
