The Objective of this project is to provide us with the script to extract the polygons (Latitude, Longitude) category boundary or point as they appear in Google MapMaker. The following steps will give an example of our requirement:
1- Open URL [url removed, login to view]
2- Click on “Browse” button above the map
3- Click on “Advanced” tap
4- On the Right Pane, enter “District” on the “Select category:” field
5- Zoom into Egypt country on the map, with the right zoom level Google will draw the boundaries of all districts on Egypt
6- The application should extract the polygons points of each district with associated details like Primary Name and alternative names (Language, Name, and Type), also county should be extracted
7- All extracted information for selected “Category”, should be formatted in Excel/ csv file
1- Sample of steps as snapshots (do this steps while you logged on using your Google account)
2- JSON response show that http response (polygons) comes in a plain text (you can get the same result using http debugger like fiddler2)
3- Formatted result of Egypt districts in CSV format done by professional web scraper few months ago.
The candidate bidder should show some sample results that he is capable to do this job.
