The work to complete is simple and require designing 2 web pages.
Each page will have **a clean layout** depending on the browser type : desktop vs mobile (iPhone/Android). **No FLASH**.
**Page #1:** should have the look of a widget and will show one image with some extra information. The page will have a UI element to switch the image to display a different one. Look & feel should be like a widget (rounded shiny border/frame).
**Page #2:** is a marketing page for an iPhone/Android application : it should be clean and elegant, and should show some thumbnails screenshot that can be expanded, and the page should show a list of features with a link to download the app.
The work to complete is simple and require designing 2 web pages. Each page will have a clean layout depending on the browser type : desktop vs mobile (iPhone/Android). The pages are described below.
The overall look for that page should be like a widget (Apple Dashboard widget/Yahoo Widget). Probably with some rounded corner, and plastic/metal effect.
The page to design will show potentially 2 images. Each image will be a static google map (no user interaction possible). The static google map will have markers information on it but you don't have to do anything with the marker except provide an area in the page to explain the meaning of each marker. There will be potentially up to 3 markers in one google map image.
The server will decide when the 2 images are available for display. When the second image is available for display then there should be some kind of UI control element that the user can click to view the second static image. The UI element should have 2 titles (string will be provided), in a way similar to Google Map when it shows : Map | Satellite | Hybrid. Again the UI element should be good looking (rounded element with plastic/shiny effect).
In addition to the static map image display on the page and the legend for the markers, there will be a few text info displayed on the page. So the layout need to accommodate for some extra text information.
In addition there will be a link on that page to go to page #2 (described below).
This page again will have potentially different layouts depending on the browser (desktop/mobile). The content shown on that page will be the description and screenshots about a mobile application that users can download for their platform (iPhone/iPad/Android). So the goal for that page is to have some good looking laid out page with some screenshots (not full size rather smaller one that user can tap to view a larger version).
You can imagine this page has being the clean & good looking page for describing a mobile application for iPhone/iPad/Android. It shows a few screenshots, and a few bullet points of the key features of the applications. It will include of course a link to download the application too.
The overall layout should be extremely clean and for mobile device the user interface should have some metallic look & feel or strong plastic look & feel. I will provide some screenshot of screens showing the style you can get inspiration from.
I will be providing example of google static map for you to use when working on the web page, so you can test with different images.
