Job Description:
-Web server: backend node.js / frontend: React or Vue. Other alternatives: Nest+Next, Express+Next
-Apple MapKit JS for getting the nearest cities from a city and cities within a defined distance/no. of driving hours
-Leaflet javascript library to show locations on map
Using Apple MapKit JS, we will get the nearby places/cities within 50,100,200,300,400,500,600 miles and 1h, 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, 7h, 8h from me.
Other functionalities:
• Free of cost api for autosuggestion search bar (no jQuery plugins of Google Maps because they are expensive)
• Auto-set location (geolocation from mobile devices) when accessing pages such as 100 miles from me
• Multilanguage module; create language (eg.: /ro , /it, /es, /fr) and possibility of translating the strings from .csv or backend;
• Save the search page url inside the database for SEO purposes (url index by meta tag) for auto-indexing in Google Search Console
• Let me define meta-title and meta-description automatically for both category pages (How far is xCity from yCity & How far is xCity from me) using some tokens:
