jQuery Front end + AWS

Hello

If the user wants to upload something small, we want to keep it the way it is... but if the user wants to upload something big, we want the client to upload it to AWS S3 directly. I'm having trouble figuring it out.

I have a way to steer it, but I'm unsure of how to do the presigned post to S3. Is that anything you have experience with?

Basically, if it's small, we POST to the webserver. If it's big, we POST to AWS S3 directly and don't go through the webserver.

1 - Get a pre-signed URL and whatever info from S3 (backend)

2 - Retrieve that info via AJAX GET

3 - Use that info to POST to S3
