Job Description: Modify Existing Shopify Web Site
I’m seeking a professional front-end developer to help me reformulate the User Experience (UX) of the jimaworks RelationShips® website ([login to view URL]). The successful proposer for this job will preferably use the Github and the Shopify-developer environments to develop new capability, and will document his/her work sufficiently well for subsequent developers to understand and modify his/her code in the future.
This job is directed at the first step in this process - to develop familiarity with the jimaworks website. This will entail learning how its pages have been previously developed, how they are presently encoded, how to successfully modify the pages, and the level of documentation that will suffice for future developers.

The above is a ramp-up task. Performance on this task will determine whether you are suited for future follow-on tasks such as:
- reworking the current sequential interaction into a “room-based” user experience.
- Improving the map-based interaction, perhaps with replacement with a web map package such as Mapbox.
- integrating an AWS ship database into the process.
- providing a more suitable visualization of the jimaworks 3D product my incorporating a 3D display of it on the website.
It might help if you care about immigration - this project is dedicated to celebrating that element in our history. I think this could be a very exciting project for the right person. Hope you will consider.
Note, however, that this first task is very straightforward. Please explain if your proposal is more than $1000.
