Hello, WebRTC is my first choice here because it gives the lowest latency for a simple webcam and microphone live stream, but for 5k daily viewers and 24-hour streaming I would use a WebRTC SFU or a managed service like LiveKit, Ant Media, or Cloudflare Stream depending on how much server work you want to own. I can pair with you over AnyDesk and help wire the React pages, getUserMedia capture, signaling with Node.js/WebSocket, stream publish/view flow, and explain each step while working directly in your IDE. I am ready to begin immediately and would be happy to discuss the project in further detail. Thanks, Teo

Hi, I’ve built multiple web apps with live streaming features using WebRTC, including a fully functional MVP for a product that lets users create and join live events. We also integrated paid subscriptions and Stripe payments, so I understand the importance of a reliable streaming solution. For your project, I’d recommend using a combination of WebRTC and a media server like Jitsi or Ant Media. This way, we can handle multiple concurrent users efficiently while keeping the cost low. I’m available for a quick introductory call to discuss your project in more detail and see if I’m the right fit. Feel free to message me anytime—I usually respond within 10 minutes. Let’s schedule a 10-minute call to discuss your exciting project. Best regards, Adil

Hello, WebRTC is the best fit here because you want a simple webcam live stream with ultra-low latency, and it’s built for real-time video/audio delivery far better than a typical HLS setup. I’ve built React + Node.js streaming flows where the key challenge isn’t just “showing video,” but keeping the stream stable, lightweight, and watchable for many viewers without adding unnecessary complexity. For your two-page app, I’d pair-program with you over AnyDesk, wire the broadcaster and viewer pages, and keep the implementation clean: camera/mic capture on Page 1, low-latency playback on Page 2, and the signaling/server logic to connect everything properly. For 24-hour streaming with around 5k daily visitors, I’d first confirm whether you need true one-to-many real-time WebRTC, or if a hybrid approach is smarter for scaling while keeping latency low. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. Do you want the stream to stay fully peer-to-peer WebRTC, or are you open to a media server approach for better stability with 5k daily viewers? I can also share working references for similar React/Node live video implementations once we connect. Looking forward to your reply so we can finalize the exact plan. Best regards, Asad

Hi there I believe WebRTC with a lightweight signaling layer is the best fit for ultra-low latency webcam streaming and I can explain why during our session I’ve built similar two-page live streaming apps with React, Node.js, and media servers, and I’m confident I can pair-program with you via AnyDesk to wire things together I’ll implement a clean two-page flow: Page 1 for broadcast with your mic/cam, Page 2 for viewers with sub-500ms latency, using WebRTC data channels and optional fallback to RTMP/HLS for reliability I’m genuinely interested in collaborating today, and I’ll tailor the approach to your constraints, including 24/7 streaming expectations and ~5k concurrent viewers Next steps would be a quick 15-20 minute session to align on signaling, ICE servers, and your hosting setup, then I’ll draft a concrete plan and milestones

Hi, WebRTC with an SFU is the best fit here because it gives ultra-low latency for webcam and microphone streaming, while still allowing multiple viewers without making the broadcaster’s browser handle thousands of direct peer connections. I understand you need a very simple two-page React setup, not a full platform. Page 1 will capture webcam and microphone using getUserMedia and publish the stream. Page 2 will subscribe and play the live feed with minimum delay. For 24-hour streaming and around 5k daily viewers, I would not use pure peer-to-peer WebRTC only. I would guide you to use an SFU service or server such as LiveKit, mediasoup, Ant Media, or Cloudflare Calls depending on budget and hosting preference. I can pair-program with you through AnyDesk, explain each step, wire the React components, signaling flow, publish/view logic, and help you test browser permissions, reconnects, and mobile behavior. I will keep the code simple so you can understand and maintain it yourself. I have worked on real-time video, React, Node.js signaling, and WebRTC-based streaming flows, and can share relevant references privately. I would be glad to help you build this correctly and will gratefully accept your feedback during the session. Best, Justin

Greetings, You’re looking to build a straightforward two-page React web app for webcam live streaming, allowing users to broadcast and others to watch with low latency. I totally get that you want a seamless, real-time experience, and I think WebRTC is definitely the right choice here. It’s designed for peer-to-peer connections, which means less lag and a smoother experience for your viewers. In our session, I would help you integrate WebRTC for the streaming functionality. We can set up the broadcasting page where users can share their video and audio, and then create the viewer page to display that feed live. My experience with React and real-time applications will ensure we wire everything together efficiently. Looking forward to collaborating with you on this project! Best regards, Saba Ehsan

Hello, WebRTC is the best choice for your use case because it gives true ultra low latency live streaming directly from webcam to viewers, which is exactly what you need for a simple real time camera streaming page. For 5k daily viewers and long running streams, I would combine React + WebRTC with a media server like mediasoup or LiveKit instead of pure peer to peer connections, because direct P2P will not scale well with many concurrent viewers. I can pair program with you over AnyDesk and help build the exact 2 page flow: Page 1 for webcam/mic broadcasting Page 2 for live viewers I will help wire webcam capture, stream publishing, viewer subscriptions, signaling server setup, reconnect handling, and deployment strategy for stable 24 hour streaming. No unnecessary auth, dashboard, or design complexity, only the streaming architecture and clean React implementation focused on performance and simplicity. I’m comfortable screen sharing, debugging live, and explaining architecture decisions step by step while coding directly in your environment.

WebRTC with an SFU is the right choice here, not simple peer-to-peer WebRTC. For one webcam broadcaster and up to 5k viewers, the browser cannot push streams directly to everyone, so the stream should be published once to an SFU such as LiveKit, mediasoup, Ant Media, or a similar WebRTC server, then distributed to viewers with ultra-low latency. I can pair with you on AnyDesk and wire the React flow directly in your IDE. Page 1 will capture webcam/mic using getUserMedia, publish the stream, handle permissions, reconnects, mute/camera states, and show stream status. Page 2 will join as a viewer, subscribe to the live feed, autoplay safely, handle connection drops, and keep latency low. For the backend, I’ll help set up the minimum required signaling/token layer in Node.js, plus STUN/TURN configuration, HTTPS requirements, room/session handling, and deployment notes. For 24-hour streaming, I’ll also guide you on bitrate, viewer scaling, server resources, reconnect logic, and why SFU hosting matters for 5k daily viewers. I’m comfortable working live through AnyDesk, explaining each step while coding, and keeping the implementation simple: no registration, no unnecessary dashboard, just a working webcam broadcast page and viewer page built properly in React.

Hello I have read your job description carefully. In my opinion, there are many protocols for streaming like webrtc, rtmp, hls, icecast(just for audio) etc. But I prefer to use webrtc because webrtc ensures low-latency about 0.1~0.5 secs but it requires high resources of server and also it is p2p protocol. Next is rtmp, its latency is not so good, but it's good for broadcasting. I have expereince in building webrtc and rtmp server and frontend before. Also I mastered core technology in react.js so I know how to improve perfomance. let's this discuss details in chatting. thanks

Hello there, I hope you’re well. I’m a React developer with hands-on experience building live media features. I’m confident we can pair-program to wire a lightweight two-page React app: Page 1 for users to broadcast via their webcam and mic, Page 2 for viewers to watch with ultra-low latency. I favor WebRTC for real-time peer-to-peer streaming and a small signaling layer (WebSocket) to coordinate offers/answers, with a simple fallback path if needed. I’ll keep the UI clean and focused, and we can drive configuration with a shared screen and IDE control as you requested. I’ve built similar setups where getUserMedia captures local media, RTCPeerConnection handles the streaming, and a minimal UI connects the broadcaster to the viewer with low latency. I’ll tailor the signaling, media constraints, and error handling to your environment, ensure compatibility with your hosting, and keep the architecture lightweight for your 24/7 target and daily 5k visitors. I can handle this end-to-end based on my experience, delivering a solid MVP quickly and validating latency and reliability with you. I’ll stay responsive, iterate on feedback, and ensure the result is robust for production use. Please feel free to connect so we can discuss details and get started. I’m available to pair-program via screen sharing as needed. Best regards, Billy Bryan

WebRTC is definitely the right choice here because your priority is ultra-low latency live webcam streaming, and for a simple two-page setup it’s much faster and lighter than traditional HLS/RTMP-based streaming. The main challenge is not creating the webcam page itself, but scaling stable real-time delivery when thousands of viewers connect at once, because direct peer-to-peer connections alone will not handle 5k daily viewers efficiently. This can be solved by using React + WebRTC with a media server/SFU structure so the broadcaster sends only one stream while viewers receive optimized relays with minimal delay. I’m a Full Stack Developer experienced in React.js, Node.js, WebRTC, real-time communication, and live-streaming integrations. You can check my portfolio on my profile for related projects. I can work directly with you over AnyDesk, help wire the broadcaster/viewer flow step by step, explain the architecture clearly while coding, and help you build a lightweight stable setup focused only on webcam live streaming without unnecessary features.

Good to see this project, We will wire up your two-page React app using WebRTC with a lightweight SFU (like mediasoup). For 5k concurrent viewers on a 24h stream, pure peer-to-peer WebRTC breaks down fast. An SFU relays one ingest to thousands of watchers while keeping latency under 500ms. A couple of quick things to confirm: 1) Do you have a VPS or cloud server ready for the SFU, or do we provision one together? 2) Should the viewer page support chat or reactions, or purely video playback? The number quoted here is a starting estimate. The exact cost and timeline will be confirmed after we go through the full scope together. Ready to start whenever you are. Faizan
