We have a system (originally developed in Flash & Actionscript) which provides a dynamically generated seating chart system for a larger event-ticket sales package. There are two components - one which allows the venue operator to design the charts, and another which allows customers to order tickets by choosing specific seats on the chart.
The problem is that Flash/Actionscript are no longer supported on Chrome browsers, and will eventually be replaced by newer technologies on all browsers.
Looking for proposals to convert two components two a more widely supported technology (such as HTML5) - which will also be usable on tablets and mobile devices.
I would provide the freelancer with the original Actionscript code and Flash files. Also, as the original developer, I'd provide a test interface and/or work with the developer on the interfacing with the backend components (LAMP platform).
Please also specify a price for converting only the customer-facing component without the "chart builder" component.
