My site is almost complete, but there is a few things I cannot figure out. We are looking for a fluent English-speaker, and someone available during business hours in the United States.
The site is written in Joomla and uses Virtuemart. There are some design issues still, and some problems to which we do not yet know the cause.
#1.) When a customer creates an account, they should automatically be moved to the "Silver Level" shopper group. This should be done without any action from the administrator. The -default- price should be shown to all visitors until they register, then new accounts should automatically be changed to Silver level. Simply changing the default shopper group to Silver Level will not work because then all visitors will see the Silver Level pricing even before registering.
# 2.) Need to change the wording on items that are not in stock or have zero inventory. Currently, it says "This Product is not in stock It will be listed in back order". This should be changed to "This product will be ordered directly from the manufacturer".
#3.) Purchase Order payment method (custom) is not working correctly. We need to have 2 types of "Purchase Order" payment methods for customers with established credit accounts. The first type is called a "Blanket Purchase Order", or BPO. This can also be called a "Contract #". This should be a field in the customer database that is populated in advance by us based on a customers contract number. The customer can then see this BPO or Contract # as a payment method on check-out and select it if desired. But the customer cannot change the content of this field. That can only be done in the admin area. Customers without established credit accounts will not see this payment option. (We have different shopper groups for customers with and without credit accounts, so the BPO option would be specific to a particular shopper group only.) The other Purchase Order payment method would be for customers with established credit accounts who do not use contracts or blanket purchase orders, but instead issue a unique purchase order number for each purchase. This would be a field that the customer could populate on checkout and select as a payment method. This would be specific only to customers in a shopper group which has established credit terms.
#4.) We are getting an error when retrieving orders from the admin "Order" site in Virtuemart. Order detail screen does not show credit card information. Also indicates some sort of memory problem relating to php. We have increased the memory allocation in the [url removed, login to view] file, but it has not resolved the problem. I have also
Item #5.) Customer "Favorites" list needs to be formatted differently. It should be more condensed and show product short descriptions along with photos and prices. Prices shown in "Favorites" list should be specific to customer's shopper group. Currently it only shows -default- pricing, regardless of shopper group logged in.
Item #6.) We use CSVImproved to upload our product database of 20k+ items. We also use multiple price levels. We are experiencing an error in CSVImproved whenever we try to upload a database of more than several hundred items. This forces us to break down the database into several small files and upload each individually. This is too time consuming, and we would like to be able to upload the entire file at one time. But we cannot figure out why the error is occurring.
Please only bid this project if you fully understand these issues and already have a good idea of how to address them. time is of the essence as we have wasted much time with someone else who did not know how to fix these problems. Also, YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE DURING U.S. BUSINESS HOURS!
