Change Bullet style for Joomla module RSS Feed

We have a Joomla website and have turned on the “RSS Feed” Module and have it set to the position “right” however it is using the wrong style of bullets. The bullets are periods but I need them to be check marks like the bullets that appear on the menu to the right of the page. I need you to change the bullets and also let me know how I would turn the bullets off if I decide that is a better option in the future.
